Forum 6 World Expo and Sustainable Automotive Industry Development

In addition, current challenges and opportunities for urban infrastructure development will be discussed.

The new automobile DNA of electrification and connectivity and GM’s commitment to moving the automotive industry toward an era of sustainable mobility through the EN-V concept will be discussed. 

 

“Urban Infrastructure Development”

 

Current challenges and opportunities for urban infrastructure development will be discussed. Shanghai’s potential to quickly become a “smart/connected” city and government support required for the creation of a connected urban environment will also be explored.

 

“Automotive Industry Development” 

 

The need for the sustainable development of the automotive industry and the role of OEMs will be highlighted. 

 

“Urban Development and Transportation Infrastructure” 

 

Government measures needed to promote energy-saving and environmentally friendly consumption will be reviewed.
