New Cadillac SRX Goes on Sale
Celebrities and world-renowned tennis superstars gathered at Binjiang Avenue in Shanghai for "Cadillac Fashion Night," where fashion and sports mixed perfectly. The event was cosponsored by Cadillac and the 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 men's tennis tournament. The new Cadillac SRX made a stunning appearance at the event, symbolizing the new luxury SUV's official debut in the market place in China.

Shanghai GM announced during the event that the new SRX Flagship version is priced at RMB 578,000 and the Luxury version is priced at RMB 498,000. Authorized Cadillac dealerships nationwide began accepting orders immediately. The SRX is the official vehicle of the 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000.

"Cadillac is one of GM's four core brands. China is a market that has the highest potential for Cadillac outside North America. Shanghai GM is fully confident in the brand. The new SRX will further define Cadillac's brand essence of 'dramatic presence and performance,'" said Ding Lei, president of Shanghai GM.
