Cadillac Hits the Road in Dalian in Advance of Davos
Fifty Cadillacs from SGM will serve as VIP transportation during the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2009 (“Summer Davos” in Asia) program, which will take place in Dalian from September 10-12. The meeting is being hosted by the World Economic Forum in partnership with the government of China. It will focus on the topic of “relaunching growth” and will welcome more than 1,300 participants from 86 countries.
In advance of the start of the program, a grand vehicle handover ceremony was held in Dalian’s Xinghai Square on September 1. Dalian Vice Mayor Dai Yulin, SGM President Ding Lei, and other leaders from government and representatives from SGM dealers attended the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, 10 Cadillac SLS luxury sedans and 10 Cadillac Escalade hybrid luxury SUVs hit the road in Dalian, drawing looks of admiration from passersby as the Cadillacs paraded through the northeastern metropolis.
