Cadillac Becomes Sponsor of Shanghai ATP Masters
Cadillac has officially become the signature sponsor of the 2009 Shanghai ATP Masters 1000 men's tennis tournament. The new SRX from Cadillac made a stunning appearance at the sponsorship contract signing ceremony yesterday in Shanghai. A fleet of 50 Cadillacs, including the SRX, will serve as the tournament's official vehicles. The new SRX luxury SUV will soon be introduced in China.
The ATP Masters 1000 is one of the most prestigious tournaments in men's tennis after the four Grand Slam events. The number 1000 refers to the number of ranking points earned by the winner of each tournament. It consists of a series of nine tournaments that are part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour. Events are held annually in nine cities. Host cities this year incude Shanghai; Indian Wells, California; Miami, Florida; Monte Carlo; Rome; Madrid; Montreal/Toronto; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Paris.
