SGM has launched the Buick New Regal featuring a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and six-speed manual transmission.  It is priced at RMB 199,999.  An optional sunroof is available for an additional RMB 4,000. 

 

 

The newest member of the New Regal family is available in red, white, silver, gold, gray and blue at 4S stores nationwide, which have started taking orders. 

The high-performance model offers the power of a sedan with a 2.0-liter engine, but qualifies for lower taxes, making it the only model in the upper-medium segment that benefits from  the Chinese government's policy that encourages the purchase of vehicles with engines of 1.6 liters and under.  It completes the New Regal portfolio.
