Chevy Runs for Missing Children

The 2010 Fireball Run Adventurally journey started on Sept. 23 in Las Vegas, Nev. and finished 8 days, 18 cities, and 3,500 miles later on Oct. 2 in the community of Galena, Ill.
Chevrolet was proud to be the official vehicle sponsor of this year’s event and provided four Tahoe Hybrids as support vehicles, a Corvette GS Convertible as the pace car, and a Synergy Green Camaro that was driven by Marc Klaas, founder of the Klaas Kids Foundation, the benefactor of this year’s rally. Plus, they entered a Camaro SS for Team Chevy/High Gear Media that was driven by Nelson Ireson and Joel Feder.
The Klaas Kids Foundation was started in loving memory of Polly Hannah Klaas, Marc’s daughter, who was abducted at age 12. His organization has been working tirelessly for more than 15 years to keep kids safe and seek out new avenues to promote awareness. They are at the forefront of the war for children – they were instrumental to Megan’s Law being signed as well as the creation of the Amber Alert system.
