Ordering a Volt...With Success!
From the ChevroletVoltage.com website, JerryR wrote that he was experiencing difficulty ordering his Chevrolet Volt. After some help from a couple of Chevy Volt team members, he successfully placed an order for his new vehicle.
"My Volt is officially ordered finally, and I have an order number. I am number five in priority at my dealership and that falls within their launch quota for November/December cars," reports JerryR.
"I cannot thank Angie and John on the Chevy Volt team enough. After weeks of frustration (deposit placed July 3rd), they were able to work with my dealer to help get this order in. It took John less than 24 hours to accomplish what I couldn't do in nine weeks.
"I have to say that even with all the GM intervention taking place (usually does not make a dealer happy), the folks (at the dealership) have been very nice to me on the phone the last couple of days and have apologized about the delay in getting my order processed...and as we say in Texas, I am one happy camper."
