Facebook Fans Share Cadillac Memories
Cadillac asks on its Facebook page: "Did your family own a Cadillac when you were growing up? What are some of your fondest memories in the family Cadillac?" Over 300 people shared a memory. Here's a few:
I'm the first Gen to own a Cadillac, but my kids love it. I hope they have fond memories when they grow up. And buy one of their own ;
We had a burnt orange Fleetwood Brougham d'elegance in 1977! My mother the Queen rode out every morning in her velour seats on the way to Miami Lakes Sr High to teach English! And we covered every mall on the weekends!
Going to Myrtle Beach in the 1977 Cadillac Eldorado! I now have a 2001 Eldorado ETC because of my dad. It was his favorite car.
1990 Seville when me and my dad rebuilt it about a year ago it's still runnin' today with 210,678 miles WHOOP, WHOOP!
We had a very cool aqua-colored Cadillac with mini-fins (have no idea what the model was) when I was a little kid...all I remember is that the back seat had a little mini-seat (it was actually the armrest!) for us kids to sit on! LOL! We just bought our very first caddy and couldn't be happier.
My fondest memory was riding with my grandfather in his cherry red 1956 Coupe DeVille with the top down by the beach, looking at the water in the distance. He and his Cadillac are long gone, but the memory still stays with me forever.
Back in the 70s, My parents had a coupe DeVille, beautiful, I was lucky enough to borrow it for my senior prom so my boyfriend and I went in style, lol.
