Testing 1, 2, 3 . . . "Solid"
Dept. 180 Season 2 kicked off yesterday, with the distribution of the first of four episodes featuring the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. You'll recall that Season 1 (5 episodes) featured the 2010 Equinox. This is a consumer-focused video series GM is sharing through social media channels. Each episode provides consumers a journey inside Chevrolet's quality story.
The latest Dept. 180 episode is titled, "Solid" - development engineers use acoustic test footage recorded in a soundproof anechoic chamber of the all-new 2011 Chevrolet Cruze and make beautiful music together. Literally.
GM employees featured in the video are Dave Hanner, lead noise engineer, Powertrain Noise and Vibration and Bill Ulrich, development engineer, Noise and Vibration from Milford Proving Ground.
