SAIC-GM Pavilion at Expo 2010 Welcomes Its 300,000th Visitor
With its unique architectural style, amazing presentation of a vision of urban transportation in 2030, high-tech concept cars and exciting stage show, the SAIC-GM Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai has attracted visitors from all over the world since it opened to the public just a month ago. Yesterday, the pavilion welcomed its 300,000th visitor. Zhu Liming and his girlfriend, Chen Shanshan, from Yiwu, Zhejiang, were visitors 300,000 and 300,001.
As other visitors applauded, Mr. Zhu and Ms. Chen were greeted by SAIC-GM Pavilion staff and were presented souvenirs such as EN-V concept vehicle models and back pillows with the image of EN-V. They expressed their appreciation of the movie 2030, Xing!, the fun motion seats and the high-tech concept cars that they saw. They also expressed their sincere wishes that GM's vision of the future will be realized soon.
It took 13 days for the SAIC-GM Pavilion to reach 100,000 visitors, 10 days to reach 200,000, and only 7 daysto welcome its 300,000th visitor.
