Russia Pavilion prepares big crowds
The Russia Pavilion at the 2010 World Expo is expecting 50,000 visitors daily and it will take 20 to 30 minutes to tour the 6,000-square-meter pavilion, a senior official of Russia has revealed.
The pavilion is estimated to receive at least 6,000 visitors in each of its opening hour, Stanislav Naumov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, revealed on his blog early February.
Visitors can still find some fun while queuing outside the pavilion, according to Naumov. Adults will learn some basic information regarding Russia's exhibit, while children can paint, read fairy-tale books or even send e-mail cards.
There will be 14 electronic information desks inside the pavilion, while visitors may wait one to 10 minutes to register before they can use the facility.
Russia is creating a fairy-tale world in its pavilion, showcasing a comfortable city as seen through children's eyes.
