Performance gala for building workers
With the Year of the Tiger just around the corner, Expo site construction workers were treated to a performance gala of singing, dancing, fashion and comedy.
More than 400 workers and security staff enjoyed the performance. They also received gifts from the organizers.
Hong Hao, director of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, thanked constructors for their hard work and expressed good-will wishes for the festival.
He called on them to maintain their upbeat spirit at the final stage of preparation. Many construction workers will keep toiling through the festival.
Construction of pavilions will draw to a close soon.
