• Thank you, Karin. Hello, ladies and gentleman!

• First I want to wish everybody a Happy New Year! And I wish everybody all the best with your health and work!

• 2009 really was a fantastic year for GM China and for the SAIC-GM Expo project.

• I want to take this opportunity to share with you our achievements on the Expo project in 2009 and to extend my sincere gratitude for your kind support in the past year.

• Last April, SAIC and GM hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for their pavilion. It was the first corporate pavilion to break ground. In August, the SAIC-GM Pavilion’s steel structure was completed in due time and received the Golden Steel Prize in recognition of its quality. On the 100-day countdown for the Expo 2010, SAIC and GM unveiled the exterior design of their joint pavilion, which symbolizes “the road to the future.”

• The SAIC-GM Pavilion for World Expo 2010 Shanghai received the Most Excellent Public Building Prize from the biannual Architecture Creation Awards; it is the only corporate pavilion that received the award this year.

• We have been leveraging all our recourses to create opportunities and channels to engage more people in experiencing our SAIC-GM pavilion.

• In 2009, we launched our GM official website for Expo 2010 Shanghai and official website for SAIC-GM pavilion, on which we have carried out a serious of warm-up activities to better showcase our vision for future urban transportation and out cutting-edge technologies.

• We also introduced our GM Expo Reporter Campaign and the “Our 2030” Student Creative Design Contest. We will announce the final winners for the Reporter Campaign Later today, and we are constantly amazed by great works from the Creative Design Contest. Reveal of the theme for our main show movie and the all-star creative team behind it was also a highlight in the past year.

• As the Expo is coming to a close, more Expo related activities will be launched after the lunar New Year’s Day.

• In March, GM will be revealing a surprise for all. I’m not going to talk about it in detail as it is a surprise, please be patient and find it out yourself later!
• In April, SAIC-GM Pavilion will be ready for trial operation. We will invite media friends to visit our pavilion and to experience the journey to 2030.

• Also during the Expo, you’ll be able to see the GM Fuel Cell Equinox and Chevy Volt throughout the Expo Park as VIP transportation for the Expo bureau and high-level attendees. We also will hold ride & drive opportunities for the media to experience these vehicles.

• On May 1st, SAIC-GM Pavilion will be officially launched, displaying to visitors from all around the world our vision for future transportation system in 2030.

• GM will also be hosting a series of forums on different technology-related topics. We hope professionals, academia and media friends will join us in the discussion on sustainable future urban mobility.

• I’ m excited about all these activities. We’ll update our events at our GM Expo2010.com, please stayed tuned with us. Our GM Expo team will also work closely with all of you as they did last year to keep you updated on our activities.
